Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a
Senior Software Developer
capable of providing TS/SCI C/C++ software development for modules that manipulate pointers, memory structures, and registers using low-level embedded systems techniques. Our team supports research and development of software designed to exploit vulnerabilities of adversary technology, including algorithm development, script writing, software utility development, source code analysis and reverse engineering, software integration and testing, technical writing, documentation, and lifecycle maintenance of software programs. Opportunities Utilize skills in techniques such as pointer arithmetic, casting variables, preprocessor directives, bit masking, bit shifting, event-driven programming, error logging, and exception handling. Perform TS/SCI software analysis, architecture, engineering, and integration at unit, module, and system levels. Support all aspects of software engineering required for Cyberspace Operations capabilities. Adhere to open standards and modern software development methodologies, following industry best practices where operational requirements permit. Provide technical reports, white papers, and documentation to record findings of software engineering activities.
Qualifications Required
Minimum of 16 years with BS/BA, or 14 years with MS/MA, or 10 years with PhD. 10 years supporting CNO development. Experience with C/C++ development on UNIX platforms, preferably Linux. Low-level operating systems experience, especially with Linux. Experience in one or more of the following areas: CNO operational Crypto/blockchain Exploit development C/C++ RUST
U.S. Citizenship required. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Ability to clear NWIC screening.
Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of experience in software development, testing, and deployment. Master's degree preferred. Experience with or knowledge of USCYBERCOM and MARFORCYBER CMF operational methodologies and/or national agency computer network operations in support of Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO).
