Senior Information System Project Manager
Work Location: National Capital Region and Tampa, FL Type: Full-time, Hybrid Clearance Requirements: Top Secret, SCI eligible OBJECTIVE Dhara is currently seeking a Senior Information System Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in the National Capital Region, Florida possibly remote location with TS clearance with SCI eligibility. The qualified applicant will become part of Dhara’s vital role in safeguarding our nation’s information with MPCO. The MPCO assumes responsibility for modernization, management, integration, operation, maintenance, and sustainment of the MPE capabilities, including numerous legacy capabilities. The MPCO also provides DoD-wide enterprise-level development, integration, systems engineering, and synchronized delivery of mission capabilities and DoD-wide enterprise services that support interagency multinational, coalition and combined C2I coalition information sharing requirements. These capabilities include cross-domain solutions, cybersecurity, and interoperability testing. The MPE is designed and optimized to meet the Commanders’ critical interoperability requirements across all warfighting functions and allow access to information by authorized users. The MPE also provides users access to common warfighter functions and mission applications with the goal of a standardized network infrastructure. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS A Senior-level person within a labor category has ten (10) or more years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description. Six (6) or more years of specific functional requirement pertaining specifically to the labor category and a component of the DoD relating to the PWS task areas being supported. A Senior-level person typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. A Senior-level person may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. Possess the ability for oral and written communication with the highest levels of management, and the ability to professionally prepare and present analytical documents for senior military and defense officials. Must have requisite engineering degree as applicable to engineering or program management certification as applicable to program management; cost/schedule/performance background and ability to develop materials and brief senior leaders on complex issues.
