Overview
Analyzes, documents, designs, and programs Clinical Information System applications. Provides enhancements and maintains current applications to meet the needs of clinicians in delivering quality, cost-effective care. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, clinical area, informatics, or healthcare. Equivalent experience may be considered. License/certification in a clinical field of expertise is required. Experience:
Demonstrated competencies in Oracle Cerner training or equivalent clinical/business application training. Knowledge of Millennium applications configuration, CCL Reporting, basic tables and files maintenance, web page development, advanced coding, and customer service skills. Basic understanding of Athena Patient Accounting applications configuration. Additional skills/abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, well-developed interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a stressful environment. Knowledge of current standards, legislation, practices, delivery systems, documentation methods, and trends in medicine. About Us
