The Opportunity
The Assistant Brand Manager, Amazing Grass will develop, gain support and lead the innovation plans for the Amazing Grass brand. This role will translate the brands long term strategy into innovation and commercial opportunities through close collaboration with Insights, R&D and Sales teams in order to drive growth for the business. The Assistant Brand Manager is also responsible for ongoing business reporting to oversee key drivers of the business as well as identify risks and opportunities to the annual operating plan. To be successful in this role, it is necessary to think strategically and effectively partner with key cross-functional partners and gate-keepers.
Collaborates with insights & analytics data to translate learnings into brand portfolio strategy and new item development Leads the product development process and sizes new opportunities with business cases to assess market potential Owns the commercialization execution for all new items in partnership with highly matrixed cross-functional team Collaborates with customer planning and strategy to support sales presentations, demos, materials development and sell-in of new items Performs day-to-day business management activities and executes other projects or activities as requested Measures business performance, develops recommendations to address performance vs. plan Supports delivery of brands P&L goals and the creation and delivery of the financials of assigned product groups
The Skills you will bring to the team Masters degree or MBA preferred not required Minimum 3-4 years of CPG relevant experience OR Minimum 1-2 years of CPG relevant experience and advanced degree (MBA)
