Job Description: Senior Front-End Engineer
Location: New York City (Hybrid Onsite) Industry: LegalTech About Us: An innovative LegalTech startup based in NYC, transforming how legal services are delivered through cutting-edge technology. Theirteam is passionate about building intuitive, user-centric platforms that empower users to navigate complex legal landscapes seamlessly. The Role: They are seeking a talented Senior Front-End Engineer to join theirteam. You will play a key role in designing and implementing dynamic, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for our flagship platform. Working in a collaborative environment, you will be responsible for translating complex requirements into clean, performant, and scalable front-end code. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to develop new features and improve existing ones. Build and maintain reusable, efficient, and scalable front-end components using React , TypeScript , Tailwind CSS , and HTML . Optimize application performance, focusing on speed and responsiveness. Ensure high-quality user experiences through cross-browser compatibility and adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG). Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a strong front-end engineering culture. Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and frameworks to inform design and development decisions. Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Qualifications: 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a focus on modern JavaScript frameworks. Strong expertise in React and TypeScript , with a solid understanding of component-based architecture. Proficiency in Tailwind CSS and HTML for building responsive, mobile-first designs. Familiarity with state management tools (e.g., Redux, React Context) and RESTful APIs. A strong understanding of front-end build tools and pipelines (e.g., Webpack, Vite). Experience working in a hybrid onsite environment, collaborating effectively both in-person and remotely. Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Passion for UI/UX design and a keen eye for detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in LegalTech or similar industries. Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library.
