VNE is seeking a TS/SCI Cleared Systems Administrator III with the following minimum qualifications: Education:
Master's or Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. Experience:
Seven (7) years with Masters or 11 years with Bachelors degree supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems, including hardware, software, and network security. Experience with hardware/software installation, systems upgrades, network accounts, security, and web page design. Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools. Experience training staff and assisting customers with IT issues. TS/SCI clearance required.
Additional qualifications include meeting latest cybersecurity workforce certifications per DoD standards and obtaining an IAT II certification within 30 days of assignment. Job Description
The Systems Administrator supports daily operations of computer network systems, including hardware/software installation, upgrades, security, and documentation. Responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting network security tools, training staff, assisting with IT, and monitoring system configurations. Essential Duties Clear communication of task requirements to clients. Ability to sit, stand, and participate in meetings for extended periods. Visual acuity for keyboard use. Attendance during scheduled hours. Proficiency in computer use and communication via phone, email, and face-to-face.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Occasional standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, talking, and hearing. May lift/move up to 50 pounds. Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. Potential exposure to chemicals and moderate noise levels.
