As a Tanium Software Engineer II focused on Full-stack, you will build and maintain best-of-breed services that power products as part of a nimble development team. Build and maintain Tanium's backend services alongside an agile development team Design, develop, and test new product ideas in collaboration with frontend and endpoint teams, incorporating feedback from product management Work on small teams addressing big challenges, such as unifying endpoint data, handling time series data for dashboards, and exposing data externally via GraphQL for partner integrations Deliver higher-level services that enable our products, focusing on security, operations, and auditing Were Looking For Someone With

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Computer Science or relevant degree preferred Experience

3+ years industry experience Experience with designing and building scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs with senior developers Knowledge of Golang (preferred), Node.js, Python, Ruby, Rust, or Java Experience with HTTP API development including REST and/or GraphQL Experience developing real-time data processing pipelines Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms Experience with containers and microservices Familiarity with modern software engineering tools like git and CI/CD pipelines Other

Sound judgment balancing rapid development with maintainability and supportability Advocates for writing automated tests Strong debugging skills Knowledge of modern backend frameworks and adaptability to new tools About Tanium
