The Information Technology Manager leads the IT department, ensuring the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure while managing IT policies and procedures. Responsibilities include supporting technical operations, maintaining IT systems, and guiding a team to troubleshoot and optimize network and hardware solutions. With 4-10 years of experience, the candidate will oversee IT strategy planning, infrastructure enhancements, and asset management to support the company's technological growth. Location: 1591 Pioneer Way, El Cajon, CA, 92020, United States Employee Type: Exempt FT Travel: 10% Manage Others: Yes Minimum Experience: 4 Years Maximum Experience: 10 Years Requirements Key Responsibilities: Support a team that provides technical support for PC workstations and phones. Lead the Installation & Maintenance of new computers and/or upgrade existing computers/networks. Maintain and implement IT policy and best practice guides for the company. Oversee the IT New Hire process including account set-up, PC set up, phone set-up, etc. Support daily maintenance operating system patches and software upgrades, and routine hardware configuration. Lead the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for all IT services and related processes. Oversee troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provide expert support when necessary. Support a team to identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems. Support and maintain IT infrastructure including multiple Windows servers (domain controllers, file, print, application, web), Active Directory, IIS, Group Policies. Support maintenance of LAN/WAN equipment including firewalls, switches, and VPN solution. Support Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Office 365/Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc. Ensure documentation of internal process and procedures related to duties and responsibilities. Designing, building, testing, and deploying the technical components required for successful On-Prem Network Infrastructure solutions. Keep up to date with current new hardware/software products for system enhancements. Participate in IT strategy planning activities. Assess the relative impact of IT industry trends to current and future enterprise infrastructure needs and projects. Lead IT asset management to ensure assets full lifetime cycle value is achieved. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in computer science or related demonstrated experience. 4 - 10 years of client and server administration. Experience implementing client desktop and laptop installations. Experience resolving problems in a Windows environment. Disciplined, systematic problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Self-starter who works well both independently and with a team. Certifications MCP/MSCE/MSCA/A+ or HDI CSS or Cisco certification, preferred. Working Conditions Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. of equipment with assistance. Fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with supervisors.
