: East Coast, Gulf. Union
: Seafarers International Union. Union Membership is required upon acceptance of a permanent role within the ATB fleets. Position Supervised
: None Required Qualifications Education/Credentials: Assistant Engineer – Limited, Oceans License (may sub 3A/E, 2A/E, or 1A/E Motor License) MMC w/ Valid STCW Endorsements Basic Safety Training (VI/1) Personal Survival Craft (VI/2) Advanced Firefighting (VII/3) VPDSD (Vessel Personnel w/ Designated Security Duties) (VI/6) OICEW (Officer In Charge of Engineering Watch) 750kw/1000HP or higher Lifeboatman CPR/First Aid STCW Medical Certificate – we require the STCW Expiration Date to be valid TWIC badge - Not to expire within three months Valid Passport – Not to expire within six months, must be able to travel internationally with no felonies, DUI or other convictions which would restrict entry into Canada or other nations Experience: 1 year of service as sea-going Engineer Tankerman-Engineer or Tankerman-PIC (Barge) Prior experience with Inert Gas systems and Intercon Coupling systems Wartsila, AlfaLaval experience Familiarity with petroleum cargo and ballast operations and regulations Computer efficiencies with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Maintenance Based Programs Languages: English Equal Opportunity Employer/Veteran/Disabled
