ACTS-Aviation Security Inc. has an immediate opening for a Security Agent at the Memphis International Airport in Memphis, TN.
Established in 2001, ACTS-Aviation Security is a leading provider of security solutions to the US aviation market. As a subsidiary of ICTS Europe, ACTS specializes in security services including catering, aircraft, and cargo screening. With offices in Chicago and Atlanta, and operations at over 30 US airports, ACTS offers nationwide coverage and opportunities for career advancement in aviation security.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect airline equipment for unauthorized items.
Screen cargo using designated equipment/methods according to customer specifications.
Perform aircraft monitoring, passenger wanding, and gate guarding as per customer requirements.
Observe and monitor activity and surroundings when not performing inspections.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager, with activities overseen by Lead or Senior Lead depending on unit size.
Salary Range: $12.00 per hour
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Requirements:
Willingness to work in cold temperatures.
Complete FBI fingerprint check and background verification.
No convictions of FAA disqualifying crimes.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks.
At least 18 years old.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.
Communication Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: None required.
Travel: None.
Environmental Requirements: Work hours include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
