Maintains all Radiographic and Fluoroscopic, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound Imaging devices. The individual will be able to perform a wide range of complex technical duties that include planning, maintaining and supporting all medical electronic systems in the health system. Duties will encompass computed axial tomography and angiographic radiographic imaging systems. In addition, He/She will be responsible for all Radiation measurements that are monitored annually by the Health Physicist. He/She shall be able to organize departmental activity to optimize efficiency and quality of work performed in the Department. Candidate will be working at both campuses and other off-site locations. Education Bachelors of Electronics - Required Experience 5-7 Years Radiographic Fluoroscopic repair experience - Required At least 15 years experience at a Senior Level, supporting Magnet Resonance Systems, Linear Accelerators, Catheterization Labs and all imaging equipment. Be able to repair to component level and display competence on full imaging system alignment. Replacement of Image Intensifiers, X-Ray Tubes, Photomultiplier Tubes and Dose stabilization. License & Certification Certified Biomedical Radiographic Service Engineer, AAMI certifications - Preferred Core Job Functions Respond to service calls to perform repair/preventative maintenance on medical imaging equipment, while ensuring a safe operation and effective performance. Calibrates imaging and geometry systems as per Manufacturer guidelines, ensuring least dose. Uses a variety of specialized forms including TMS, TRIAD as well as Biomedical in-house specialized forms. Ensures DICOM calibration, SMPTE patterns on all diagnostic displays while leading other team members. Schedules and performs in-service training for correct operation of imaging equipment.
