Trip is limited to 8 participants. The registration fee is waived for this trip. Whether or not you’ve been on a trip with us before, if you're seeking a more challenging experience than our past offerings, this trip is for you! Designed for those with backpacking or long hike experience, we will conduct campsite inventories and restoration work at Siamese Lakes. Participants will also learn about the Great Burn, the importance of conservation, and local flora and fauna. Enjoy camping at a lake—don't forget your MT fishing license if you're interested in fishing! Additionally, the group will participate in outdoor leadership development, gaining hands-on experience in teamwork, decision-making, and problem-solving in a backcountry setting. Key leadership skills such as communication, conflict resolution, and risk assessment will be emphasized through real-world scenarios. The program will focus on: Team Building & Awareness

– Strengthening cohesion through trust exercises, group discussions, and collaborative decision-making, while recognizing individual strengths. Situational Leadership

– Understanding and adapting different leadership styles based on group needs and environmental conditions. Wilderness First Aid & Risk Management

– Covering basic first aid, injury prevention, and emergency response for safe backcountry travel. Stewardship

– Promoting responsible outdoor ethics, sustainable practices, and environmental conservation. Personal Growth & Reflection
