dormakaba is seeking a Configuration Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for developing, operating, and maintaining the product model configurations in relevant departments; teaching and assisting configuration data users to understand how the ERP system functions, and depicts products from quoted order to receipts payable. This is a remote role HIRING SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $105,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Supports and participates in product development work for assigned group(s) Coordinates changes to be made to configuration system and corresponding effects with related departments Documents the development and enhancement of configured models and actively assists others to successfully utilize the information Operates the ERP system to accurately maintain and enhance the configuration system; consults with the vendor and/or internal IT to resolve issues as needed Validates test models independently prior to model activation; performs data testing to support functions and scheduling Analyzes Bills of Materials, cost and price roll-up of configured items Develops, reviews, and certifies correct product routings Maintains current price lists and set up future pricing structures Maintains current master files including customer catalog, product master, inventory segment, and product structure Facilitates instructional meetings and distributes published reference materials. Participates in LEAN engineering activities REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant business or technical discipline preferred. Experience with SAP Variant Configuration design and implementation a plus 5+ years relevant experience preferred Experience in engineering, product management, inventory control, accounting. Experience working with ISO 9001 and 14001 compliances preferred Active membership and conference attendee to the SAP Configuration Workgroup (CWG), a plus Formal SAP Variant Configuration training from SAP recognized partner, a plus Must be able to travel up to 25% Must be able to manually manipulate office equipment, including computer, copier, etc. Must be able to communicate via telephone Must be able to travel using public transportation CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS

Strong communication skills needed in cross-team/user relationships Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to understand and quickly understand complex problems and situations. Must be a self-starter, who can take on projects and see them from start to finish, ensuring business buy-in throughout the process Flexibility to work in a team setting or independently, depending on needs of the department Ability to manage independent projects Ability to organize and manage time effectively, in order to work with little supervision WE OFFER
