Software Developer

This position will include working on a team incorporating functionality and reporting into the Atlassian Suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, Insight, etc.). This will involve consultation with end-users, development team, and implementation of a technical design that meets business needs and execution. This position will work on a tight-knit team and be involved in the end-to-end design process from research and conceptualization to implementation and iteration and is expected to be an expert in all functional and technical aspects of the platform and integration points. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Work with program SME to understand user requirements to design, develop, and implement an Atlassian solutions. Perform technical migrations, merges, and implementations of products for end-users and customers. Proactively troubleshoot and overcome technical problems. Work with data to create advanced reporting solutions. Lead and/or participate in requirements elicitation meetings, review boards, and functional demonstrations. Work with end-users and customers to enable custom workflows, fields, screens, dashboards, and reports. Work to automate Jira-related processes. Help guide the configuration and documentation of Jira and Confluence instances. Create and update documentation related to the project. Collaborating with cross functional teams to review and analyze system requirements and user stories Ability to configure, enhance, troubleshoot, repair, operate, and maintain Atlassian software. Familiarity with developing automated processes and custom triggers Ability to understand and have experience with constructing Atlassian query languages (JQL, IQL) Familiarity with Atlassian products (e.g. JIRA Service Management, JIRA Core) and marketplace offerings Ability to documenting requirements, user stories, and meeting minutes Ability to explain and demonstrate product functionality and usage to end-users and customers Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline and 2+ years experience Self-motivated, collaborative, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience working with DoD environments About the company
