VDOT Programmer Analyst 3: We are looking for a skilled Web Application Developer with extensive experience in R programming and ShinyApp.io to design, develop, and maintain data-driven web applications that leverage R. The ideal candidate's primary responsibilities will include: Designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven web applications using R for statistical computing and data visualization. Supporting and bug fixing existing tools developed utilizing Angular and Python. Developing interactive web applications using R and ShinyApp.io. Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to create intuitive user interfaces and dashboards. Optimizing application performance and ensuring responsiveness across different devices. Integrating R-based applications with APIs, databases, and other data sources. Providing technical support and troubleshooting for existing web applications. Requirements: Proficient in R programming and ShinyApp.io. Familiarity with Web/Angular, DB/SQL, and Python. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Experience with version control (e.g., Git) is a plus.
