Alphanumeric Systems . Alphanumeric is hiring a DEVELOPER - ERP, Level 3 to work in the Research Triangle Park, NC area with a client committed to medical and pharmaceutical advancements. The Onyx Research Data Platform Organization is a major investment by R&D and Digital & Tech, aimed at enhancing data leverage, knowledge, and prediction to discover new medicines. It includes product and portfolio leadership, data engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, data/metadata/knowledge platforms, and AI/ML analysis platforms. Key Responsibilities include: Designing and developing scalable APIs that are secure, efficient, and user-friendly, following industry standards. Producing well-engineered software with automated tests, documentation, and operational strategies. Solving diverse problems by reusing modular code and developing microservices. Contributing to team roadmaps and improving overall work programs. Applying platform abstractions for logging and lineage consistency. Participating in code reviews and adhering to coding standards. Following QMS and CI/CD best practices, and helping improve them. Minimum Education:
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Preferred Education:
Master's or PhD in relevant fields. Experience:
PhD + 2 years, Master's + 4 years, Bachelor's + 6 years. Basic Qualifications: 3-5 years of Google Cloud experience. 2-3 years of Terraform infrastructure-as-code. Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions. Knowledge of API security practices. Deep knowledge of Python and related tools. Familiarity with API management tools. Proficiency in modern software development tools and API design principles. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with metadata platforms. Experience with event-driven architectures, webhooks, message queues, pub/sub systems.
