Part-Time/Non-Exempt (Seasonal) Summary/Objective As a Ticket Resolutions Specialist, you will work out of the Ticket Sales and Service department to assist fans in the comprehensive ticketing experience at the Daikin Park Box Office. Qualified individuals must be highly motivated with a passion to provide an excellent level of customer service to every fan being serviced. Individuals should be detail-oriented and possess both a technologically savvy and problem-solving mindset. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Engage with fans and serve as the department's first level of support regarding mobile ticketing and admission into the ballpark on Astros game days or special events. Provide answers to frequently asked and unique mobile ticketing questions in a fast-paced environment. Assist fans with day of game purchasing of Astros tickets via online methods. Instruct fans on downloading the MLB Ballpark app and accessing MLB accounts. Assist with standard operational gameday preparation such as digital distribution and internal service support. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience & Skills Customer Service Experience. Must possess the manual dexterity and visual acuity to fully utilize and execute the full functionality of smart phones and other mobile devices. Experience using online ticketing apps and/or other software platforms. Experience with and knowledgeable of the features, functions, and effective usage of iPhones, Androids, and related mobile or digital devices in professional environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment. Majority of time spent in the indoor, climate-controlled environment of the Daikin Park Box Office. May also be exposed to a partially sheltered outdoor environment subject to climate fluctuations. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This role requires the ability to lift, carry, move, arrange, and use equipment up to 30 lbs. in weight and to stand for long periods of time. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a part-time position and hours require you to be available 4 hours before the start of the game to begin your shift. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel Travel is not expected for this position.
