Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide. HX5 is currently seeking a Senior Developer - DB to join our team at Marshall Space Flight Center. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Software Developer will work with the commanding and database production (C&DB) team to support the Payload Operations Integration Center (POIC) International Space Station (ISS) and Space Launch System (SLS) mission ground systems hosted in the Huntsville Operations Support Center (HOSC). The C&DB team is responsible for supporting Flight operations with ground support systems handling commanding, database changes, and user experiences for ISS, Artemis Moon to Mars missions, Lunar Gateway, Human Landing System, Extravehicular Activity, Human Surface Mobility, and Lunar Habitat Base. Currently, C&DB runs on servers with Linux and Windows VMware implementations. Modernization plans include migration to Kubernetes containers with a new HOSC OpenShift cluster, a DevSecOps pipeline, initiated in 2023, deployed in 2024, and starting modernization in 2025. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to historic scientific and exploratory missions. Qualifications:

Experience with programming languages such as Angular, ReactJS, C#, C++, JavaScript, and other relevant or functional languages. Experience with .NET Core, GitLab, Linux software development, Containers, Kubernetes, and web-based environments. Knowledge of relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or similar high-performance databases. Experience with large distributed systems, network programming, unit testing, automated testing, and agile development. Ability to develop, capture, and present technical information effectively. Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree or higher in engineering or computer science from an ABET-accredited institution. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience. Position Details:

This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week, with a flexible schedule Monday through Friday. Other Requirements:
