Software Developer - Herndon Virginia

Require a Software Development Engineer who will work on creating Windows services. Primary Responsibilities: Developing Windows solutions, including deep diving into troubleshooting/debugging internally developed code (written in Golang and Python). Enhancing the functionality of existing systems and increasing our ability to scale. Contributing to all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Working alongside other engineers on software development, updating/enhancing current software, automation of support processes, and documentation of our systems. Job Qualifications: Must have experience developing services for Windows, including Windows Event Logging, Windows registry, WMI, Event Tracing for Windows (ETW), and Windows file system. Preferred coding skills: Golang and Python. Other desired technical skills include Windows kernel expertise and UNIX/Linux. A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience is required. Typical Day in the Role: 40 hours, with possible conversion to full-time. Top 3 Must-Have Hard Skills: Technical degree in Computer Science. Software: Golang and Python. Language experience and knowledge of event logging.
