Primary Duties & Responsibilities Develop and deploy applications within the Optimizely CMS platform following the software development life cycle Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during the development and deployment of software projects Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure compliance with established coding standards and best practices Has an evolving understanding of system-wide architectural challenges Contribute to technical discussions and decision-making processes within the team May take on a mentoring role and provide guidance and support to junior technical talent Recommend efficiencies to current established development and continuous integration practices Qualifications Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience 4+ years professional application development experience 4+ years of experience working with modern engineering tools, languages and practices Proven track record of delivering significant and impactful CMS technology solutions 2+ years professional experience with .NET Core development and/or Java development in context of Optimizely CMS environment Experience working with HTML and CSS in context of Optimizely CMS environment Experience with cloud-based development, including PaaS and SaaS, and Docker and/or Kubernetes Exposure to and understanding of CICD pipelines Exposure/Understanding of automated testing concepts: unit testing and Test-Driven Development Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences Understanding of design patterns and architecture Nice to Haves: Have a passion for operational excellence, problem-solving, and ownership in accomplishing challenging goals
