Job Description

North Bay Regional Center is looking for a Social Services Case Manager to join our dedicated team of Service Coordinators. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of services to regional center clients, including those with intensive physical or emotional needs, ensuring that the client’s Individual Program Plan and its objectives are pursued.

Job Responsibilities

Use person-centered planning to assist clients in utilizing public and private resources before using regional center funds to purchase services.

Monitor vendor services and verify that services are delivered in accordance with the purchase of service authorizations.

Evaluate the effectiveness of clients’ Individual Program Plans, ensuring that appropriate community resources are made available to the client.

Conduct annual reassessments of clients’ developmental status in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team.

Conduct client assessments on an occasional basis.

Job Requirements

To qualify for the Social Services Case Manager role, you must enjoy working with clients and assisting people with developmental disabilities.

Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to developmental disabilities (i.e. Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Special Education, and/or Nursing).

Master’s Degree preferred.

3 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Bilingual language ability (Spanish to English) is highly desirable.

A note regarding NBRC’s expectations regarding remote, hybrid, and home-based work…

All employment at NBRC requires face-to-face, in-person interactions with NBRC clients, family members, community, and co-workers. Candidates for employment must live within commute distance to their preferred NBRC office, as well as the geographical location of their assigned clients. While 100% remote work is not available to NBRC employees, a hybrid work arrangement may be available for new employees after successfully demonstrating achievement of performance expectations following at least 3 months of in-office work.

Salary Range

$59,244 – $65,340 with opportunities for 5% increases annually.
