Job Schedule: Full Time (40 Hours per week) Job Duties: Perform all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of software application development including requirements analysis, planning, application design, development, testing, debugging, and enhancing existing components to ensure that software meets business needs, requiring knowledge in translating business requirements to technical design, coding, integration, and solutions. Perform testing and debugging using frameworks like Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Cypress, and Mocha in a Test-Driven Development (TDD) environment and help establish development, testing, and best practices across the organization. Work on creating, optimizing, and refactoring SQL and NoSQL scripts for faster retrieval of data from the database. Debug applications using Firebug & web developer tools on Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. Test the application in Integration, Test, UAT, and Production environments to ensure the system is functioning as expected. Use Postman to post and test data through Web API endpoints and check functionality in AWS Cloud. Use GitHub to commit and merge code changes daily, as the whole team follows a CI/CD approach. Document software designs, new and existing functionalities for future maintenance and enhancements. Act as an expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process. Minimum Education Requirement: This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
