ING Americas Tech is the support backbone and catalyst for new and innovative solutions that drive growth for both internal and external customers. We strive to bring technical expertise and business knowledge together to support a wide range of business products. The Stream Aligned Team is focused on supporting the Americas Wholesale Banking business, such as Financial Markets, Lending & Capital Markets, maintaining systems in collaboration with global teams, and building and maintaining local applications as applicable. The DevOps Engineers work with the infrastructure, technology operations and other cross-functional teams to support US businesses. Responsibilities
Design, implement and maintain Data Workflows, ELT processes, and pipelines on a variety of platforms Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code on bespoke business applications Implement and work with the latest tooling with a strong focus on performance, stability, and security Document specs and implementations of deliverables Collaborate with Business, Local and Global DevOps teams plus associated technical disciplines Perform data improvement by (re)configuring new and existing products, reports and processes in general Understand the entire stacks technology on which the application runs and how it fits in the overall chain Build, enhance and maintain tooling and scripts to automate repetitive or error-prone tasks, using the correct Event Alerts Perform Functional testing and Change Management activities in order to ensure the safe deliveries from Test, to Acceptance and to Production environment Qualifications and Competencies
Oracle DB Oracle SQL language C# C++ Python Working knowledge of CI/CD Experience with Azure DevOps Experience in Agile way-of-working Knowledge of Sophis Knowledge of business/products (Equities, Equity Derivatives) A customer focus, with the mindset to find and resolve root causes of incidents to structurally improve the customer experience Comfortable Excel user Experience with tools like ServiceNow, Confluence, Azure DevOps is a plus Familiarity with IT Service Management / ITIL processes is a plus Scripting knowledge (Powershell, Python, bash) is a strong plus A good team player, cross functional, enjoys interacting with people of all levels in a multicultural environment Proactive and attentive to others needs In addition to comprehensive health benefits, a generous 401k savings plan, and competitive PTO, ING provides a broad array of benefits including adoption, surrogacy, and fertility services; student debt assistance; and subsidies for expenses associated with working from home, commuting, and fitness.
