We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support and manage critical data and voice networks.
This role involves designing, engineering, and troubleshooting routers, switches, and firewalls while ensuring optimal network performance.
The position requires onsite presence in Southern Maine, with occasional after-hours support.
Key Responsibilities
Design and engineer switched networks, routers, and firewalls.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem analysis for complex network issues.
Monitor and optimize network performance.
Offer technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
Travel locally within Freeport and Brunswick, Maine, including after-hours support as needed.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of enterprise experience in networking. Expertise in Arista CloudVision (70xx / 72xx) and Cisco switches (Nexus NXOS). Strong experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Zscaler). Proficiency in L2 VLANs, DHCP snooping, DAI, and routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP). Familiarity with Meraki SD-WAN and VPN solutions. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with F5 Load Balancers and Zscaler ZIA/ZPA. Ability to lift network equipment up to 30 pounds.
