Investor Relations Associate
will provide comprehensive operational and administrative support to the REITs, serving as a key partner to our investors. The Investor Relations Associate must be an assertive problem solver, providing professional, diligent, and courteous assistance to each REIT’s Governing Boards, officers, shareholders, and unitholders. To be successful in this role, the Investor Relations Associate must demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and be able to accommodate the working styles and perspectives of diverse individuals across all levels of the Company. This role will be responsible for processing investor transactions that include preparing general correspondence and memos; completing various reports and projects; performing administrative duties; creating presentation and communication materials; and tending to day-to-day investor related inquiries and tasks. The Investor Relations Associate role strengthens our Company’s mission and vision as an individual contributor, supporting both the Investor Relations Department and Executive Management Team. Starting wage of
$20/hour
(or more based on experience). Performance Responsibilities: Manage daily investor-related questions and diligently resolve any issues that may arise. Process and ensure the accuracy of investor transactions to include investor transfers, redemptions, optional cash purchases and other account activities. Provide administrative support for share offerings as needed. Facilitate the printing and distribution of the annual report, proxy statement and notice of annual meeting. Assist in the planning and execution of Annual Shareholder Meetings. Provide administrative, mailing, filing and recordkeeping support to Investor Relations. Work closely with the Company’s transfer agent (Computershare) to appropriately maintain investor accounts. Assist Director of Investor Relations with quarterly dividend and distributions. Serves as primary backup in managing front desk of home office. Work side by side along with peers and leadership to support teams as appropriate. Experience, Education, and Licensure: Required: High School Diploma or GED. Detail Oriented, able to work through complex situations accurately and timely. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including SharePoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, and CRM Systems. Proficiency of the English language in reading, writing and verbal communication. Preferred: Four-year Degree in Business Management, Legal, Marketing, Finance or similar. Three years experience in investor relations. A motivated, proactive, well-organized and self-directed individual who is also able to motivate and guide others. Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, manage time, as well as possess an orientation toward details. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to relate and address issues with a diverse group of people. Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
