Water/Wastewater Engineer/Deputy Project Manager
in our
Raleigh or Charlotte, NC or Danville VA
offices. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for supporting our team on water and wastewater design projects for public and private sector utilities clients (water and wastewater). Responsibilities
Planning and modeling of water and wastewater systems. Design of water and sanitary sewer pipelines and processes. Developing opinions of probable project cost. Coordinating design with other design disciplines. Conducting process and equipment sizing calculations. Developing design drawings and specifications. Designing, selecting and specifying process equipment (pumps, blowers, mixers, filters, tanks, etc.). Assist PM with client relationship management. Visit clients, job-sites and consultant offices as needed to support project and business development needs. Collaborate and assist PM with managing design teams in aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans. Manage scope, schedules and budget of projects. Required Skills & Required Experience
B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering. 3-6 years of related experience. EIT required. North Carolina PE preferred or eligible in the near future. Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff. Don’t meet every single requirement?
