Microsoft Power BI Developer
LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting for a Microsoft Power BI Developer to support our USPSOIG contract in Arlington, Virginia.
Position Overview:
Primary focus on business intelligence and reporting technologies/methodologies
Identify data to clean, transform, and load into data models
Create data models, establish relationship cardinality and cross-filter direction, and build complex measures
Visualize data models by creating reports and dashboards
Assist in the delivery of quality solutions using Microsoft Business Intelligence tools (Power BI) and related technologies
Partner with OIG customers and OCIO technical team members to assist with requirements definitions, solution designs, technical architecture, and delivery
Work collaboratively with team members including project managers, solution architects, and business analysts
Job Duties:
Implement solutions using Microsoft Power BI tool suite and related technologies Proficient in developing complex Data Analytics Expressions (DAX) and M (Power) Queries Experience with developing interactive dashboards, including parameters, actions, and navigation for ease-of-use Experience creating dataflows or datamarts Designing composite models Applying roles and Row Level Security (RLS) to Reports, Apps, and workspaces Experience with report builder and developing paginated reports Leverage database systems including data warehouses, data marts, and models for analysis and reporting Develop high performing, reliable, and scalable solutions Optimize performance on data models and communicate technical details effectively Perform data analysis to support OIG information systems and services Experience with data technologies such as Oracle, SQL Data Warehouse, SQL Server, etc., and willingness to learn how to leverage them Author and oversee design documents for projects Develop, publish, and schedule reports, dashboards, scorecards, and visual analytics Provide feedback and coaching on Power BI technologies Share insights and recommendations on emerging technologies Contribute to a team-oriented environment and work creatively and analytically Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in business intelligence or information management 2+ years of experience with data visualization and high-value solutions, including administrative activities 2+ years in a client-facing technical role Expertise in data management, BI, and analytics concepts including ETL, data warehousing, data quality, governance, visualization, and analytics Proficiency in languages such as SQL, SAS, R, or Python Experience with government software development policies Experience integrating solutions with PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Dataverse Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field, or a PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Certification
