Group: Road Position: Project Engineer Location: Akron, OH We are looking for a talented engineer who is looking for the opportunity to work on exciting projects in our Akron design center. In this role you will be a part of a growing team and contribute to transportation designs and mentoring of less seasoned staff members as we add to this team. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a strong technical background. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for client interaction and career advancement. Responsibilities
Conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design for transportation projects
Geometric, maintenance of traffic, drainage, and signing/pavement marking design as necessary Development and mentoring of junior staff Interaction with clients on technical related issues Development and Quality Control of construction plans, quantities, and specifications Development of 3D roadway models Other duties as assigned Qualifications
