Position Overview The Data Historian Architect will design, develop, implement, and support data management, historian, and reporting solutions. Key skills include Windows and Network Security, system administration, data integrity, analytics, and visualization tools. Experience with AspenTechs APC Platform, Seeq, OSIsoft PI Historian, XLReporter, and InfoBatch/AgileDocs is required; Python and R are a plus. This role involves leading technical projects, developing solutions across platforms for operations compliance, enterprise historian solutions, energy monitoring, reporting, and equipment reliability. The candidate should be able to present best practices and identify new opportunities. Responsibilities Maintain knowledge of relevant technologies Define project scope and outcomes with customers Collaborate with sales to develop solutions Lead proposals for projects, training, support, and upgrades Support software deployment and support activities Integrate data across platforms like DeltaV, OPC UA/DA, OSIsoft, AspenTech, Modbus, SQL Travel to customer sites in VA, NC, SC Design and architect systems
Requirements U.S. Citizenship Excellent communication skills Self-motivated, detail-oriented, results-driven Team and individual work capability Bachelors in ChE, EE, CS, Statistics, or related field Experience with Historian and reporting tools in plant environments ISA S88 experience Analytics and SaaS experience In-plant experience with OSIsoft PI
