Job Summary The BI Analyst will support the functional and technical design, direction and support to the current model as well as future developments. The position also contributes to both functional and technical implementations of existing and new developments in Oracle Business Intelligence Suite. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Analyzes raw data and develops ETL/ELT processes by designing, testing, and troubleshooting processes in accordance with requirements Analyzes and translates business needs into long-term solution data models Understands data structures Responsible in extending data models to house additional data structures to meet requirements Supports database/data warehousing Designs custom fact tables, aggregate tables, and dimensions Designs, develops and customizes RPD with multiple data sources Creates technical documentation Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: 4-year degree preferred Minimum of 5+ years Minimum of 3+ years experience in applications like Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle Data Warehouse SQL knowledge; techno-functional skills Preferred Qualifications: Oracle technologies: ETL / ELT, Data Analysis Working knowledge of database/data warehouse concepts including views, tables, and indexing General understanding of Star and Snowflake schema structures General understanding of the OBIEE/OAC environment Experience in ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) OBIEE background/experience Oracle Analytics Development The information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job.
