We are searching for a driven, collaborative Informatics Instructional Designer I to join our high-performing Clinical Informatics team. In this pivotal role, you will empower healthcare professionals with the knowledge and tools they need to master Epic and other cutting-edge clinical systems ultimately advancing patient care across our entire organization.

What You Will Do
You will lead the charge in designing, delivering, and supporting world-class end-user training for Epic and other key clinical systems. As a content and application expert, you will:
Deliver high-impact training (classroom, virtual, self-paced) 50% of your time, equipping end users to excel in their roles. Develop engaging learning materials, including step-by-step guides, e-learning modules, quick start guides, and interactive demonstrations. Manage and optimize Epic training environments, ensuring alignment with live (production) workflows and functionality. Analyze, test, and troubleshoot workflows, collaborating with Clinical Informatics, IT, and Operations to ensure system changes are seamless and effective. Lead training for new hires and system updates, ensuring staff stays sharp and informed. Drive continuous improvement by evaluating training programs, identifying optimizations, and embedding best practice workflows into user education. Serve as a key informatics liaison on projects and committees, ensuring training supports operational goals and project milestones. What You Need to Succeed
Minimum Requirements
Education High School Diploma or equivalent with 5 years healthcare specific systems analyst/training experience OR Associates degree or healthcare specific certification/licensure with 1 year of IT/training experience Bachelors degree preferred Experience Preferred: Experience developing and delivering technical training (in-person and e-learning) Preferred: Familiarity with computer-based training tools (Camtasia, Captivate, uPerform, etc.) Certifications (Epic-specific)
Required (within timelines) Epic Application Curriculum Certification/Accreditation (within 90 days of hire) Epic Training Environment Build Accreditation (within 90 days of hire) Epic Clinical Informatics Certificate (within 6 months of hire) Preferred Epic Certification, Accreditation, or Proficiency in one or more Epic applications What You Will Bring
