Scope of Position:
The Facility Technician is responsible for controlling and coordinating maintenance activities for continuous operation of multiple gym facility locations. This includes both maintenance and management duties for the assigned gyms including but not limited to painting, carpentry, heating, cooling, electrical, pool, sauna and plumbing equipment. Major Responsibilities: Perform general building maintenance repairs: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, general carpentry, painting, drywall repair, locks, and preventative maintenance work. Replace overhead lamps in both incandescent and fluorescent overhead lighting fixtures and replace lighting ballasts as necessary Replace HVAC filters. Perform basic maintenance of electrical and plumbing equipment. Perform carpentry repair duties. Inspect heating and air conditioning equipment, sprinkler systems, and fire protection devices to ensure proper operation. Operate heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment. Maintain pool and spa Maintain wet & dry sauna Plan and paint large areas within the gym, including touch-up painting when necessary. Determine painting schedule with gym, order and coordinate paint delivery to meet deadlines. Access our online Ticket System to receive and close tickets. Log maintenance and repair requests in the service channel. Support emergency maintenance needs, sometimes outside regular hours. Provide emergency maintenance support for locations when the primary technician is out, ensuring minimal downtime and safety compliance. Assist with general facilities support as needed including, but not limited to gym openings, closings, remodels and equipment delivery.
Note:
The position will include days planned for General Facility Maintenance and Planned Paint Projects.
Qualifications & Requirements: High School Diploma Trade Certifications desired Previous multi-unit experience and oversight Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Experience working in purchasing systems/work order systems. Requires Valid Drivers License with MVR report and reliable transportation
