About the Role: The Lawn Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all lawn care operations to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing a team of lawn maintenance technicians, scheduling daily tasks, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and used safely. The Team Lead will serve as the primary point of contact between the field team and management, facilitating clear communication and efficient workflow. Additionally, the role requires monitoring the quality of work performed, providing training and guidance to team members, and addressing any issues that arise promptly. Ultimately, the Lawn Maintenance Team Lead plays a critical role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of clients' lawns while fostering a productive and motivated team environment. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in lawn maintenance or landscaping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers safely and effectively. Strong communication and organizational skills. Chauffer's License Preferred Qualifications: Certification in landscaping or horticulture. Experience with pest control and fertilization techniques. First aid and safety training certification. Familiarity with scheduling software and basic computer skills. Demonstrated leadership abilities in a field service environment. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily lawn maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, edging, and fertilizing. Assign tasks and routes to team members based on client needs and team capacity. Ensure all lawn care equipment is inspected, maintained, and operated safely and efficiently. Provide on-the-job training and support to team members to uphold company standards and improve skills. Conduct quality control inspections to guarantee customer satisfaction and adherence to service specifications. Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure service expectations are met. Maintain accurate records of work completed, equipment usage, and team attendance. Collaborate with management to plan seasonal schedules, resource allocation, and team development initiatives. Skills: The Lawn Maintenance Team Lead utilizes strong leadership and communication skills daily to manage and motivate the team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
