Position Highlights: 12-hour inpatient shifts:
7:00 AM7:00 PM or 7:00 PM7:00 AM , scheduled according to the facility's call rotation Minimum of 1014 shifts per month , which may include both weekdays and weekends Long-term contract with potential for extension Pediatric Locum Tenens contract position Work authorized under any state's
active, unrestricted U.S. medical license Local or travel locum candidates welcome Key Responsibilities: Provide inpatient pediatric care, including admissions, rounding, and discharges Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions in a hospital setting Work closely with pediatric nurses, family medicine providers, and specialists Respond to pediatric emergencies and consults as needed Maintain detailed and timely documentation in the EHR Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams Support continuity of care through effective handoffs and follow-up planning Participate in care coordination and quality improvement efforts

Requirements:
Required Qualifications: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Completion of an
ACGME-accredited Pediatric residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics Active, unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory Minimum
2 years of post-residency clinical experience
in inpatient pediatric settings Current certifications:
BLS and PALS (ACLS and NRP preferred) U.S. citizenship and current residence in the continental United States Certification of education (copy of diploma or transcripts required) Current DEA license and eligibility to prescribe medications Strong pediatric diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems (RPMS preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Willingness to comply with all federal and state medical practice regulations Adaptability to a flexible and dynamic work environment Valid driver's license may be required Ready to Make a Difference?
