Job Description
VHC Health is seeking a full-time fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgeon to join our expanding MIGS division.
In this role, the surgeon will be joining another Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon with four years of post-graduate experience.
This practice is supported by a robust team, including 18 general OB/GYN physicians, one Urogynecologist, and one Gynecological Oncologist.
VHC Health is an affiliate hospital with Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, therefore, this role will require the teaching of medical students and residents
Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgeon is expected to perform office and surgical care duties only
no Obstetric duties are required in this role Home call is to be expected Research opportunities and faculty position at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital are available Required Qualifications Doctorate from accredited medical school is required Fellowship trained in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Experience with endometriosis, fibroid surgery, complex laparoscopy, robotic surgery, and office hysteroscopy Certifications/Licensure: Licensed to Practice Medicine by the Virginia Department of Health Professions is required. Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
