Overview Tier One Technologies has an immediate need for a Privileged Access Management (PAM) Cybersecurity Engineer for our US Government client. This hybrid contract-to-hire position will be located in Morrisville, NC. SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT. Must be a US citizen. Responsibilities Responsible for the security architecture across a variety of applications or domains, including cloud computing, and assigned to large, complex, and high-risk projects/initiatives. Develop actionable security blueprints, principles, models, designs, standards, and guidelines to ensure enterprise IT architecture is consistent, secure, and adds value to the business. Analyze existing systems and customer needs to identify protection requirements; provide detailed specifications for technical infrastructure needs. Develop system security context and preliminary system security concepts of operations (CONOPS), including baseline security requirements. Determine appropriate levels of system availability based on critical functions; provide input on disaster recovery and continuity of operations. Evaluate acquisition documents against existing and proposed security architectures and designs by examining security-relevant components and their interrelationships within the enterprise. Raise issues, risks, or decisions to product owners and management. Identify roadblocks and propose effective solutions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Security. Master's degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in Information Security Operations and/or related IT functions. Expertise in PAM tool configuration, including SmartTules, Splunk, MFA, ServiceNow, SCIM Server Integration, Authentication, BeyondTrust Roles, etc. Previous experience onboarding accounts into a PAM tool, including conducting asset and account discovery sessions. Working knowledge of managing PAM tools, password management, user support, ticket resolutions, maintaining virtual appliances (patches and upgrades), and supporting Windows/Linux servers and MSSQL databases. Provision additional computer resources to support scalability if needed. Ability to influence peers and key stakeholders positively. Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CPT, CEH, or CISSP are desirable. Background and knowledge of Identity & Access Management with emphasis on Privileged Access Management. Experience with BeyondTrust Password Safe or other PAM solutions is a plus. Experience with directory services like Active Directory or LDAP is a plus. Knowledge of Windows and UNIX system administration is a plus. Excellent communication skills. Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance. Ability to pass drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks. Must have resided in the United States for the past 5 years.
