Position Highlights
- Outpatient-only General Neurology within a hospital-based clinic
- No hospital call, weekends, or holiday requirements
- Clinic hours: Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5pm Fridays, 8am - 12pm
- Practice at a single location on the main hospital campus
- Ideal for candidates with a Neuromuscular or Neurophysiology fellowship
- Neurodiagnostic testing and EMG/NCV available in-clinic with trained techs
- Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team
- Dedicated APP support in clinic
- Integrated Neuromuscular Rehab and Balance Center
- 420-bed tertiary referral center and Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) campus
- Regional catchment area of 450,000+ across AL, GA, and FL
- Advanced imaging: PET, 3T MRI, 64-slice CT, interventional radiology
- Full spectrum of specialist support including neurosurgery, EP cardiology, and pain management
- EMR: Cerner (hospital) and Athena (clinic)
- Accredited Internal Medicine and Transitional Year residency programs
- Dedicated oncology rehab, diagnostics, and supportive care services
