Barton Associates is seeking a board-certified OB/GYN physician for an 18-day locum tenens assignment at a multi-specialty clinic in Tennessee. Starting on 07/04/2025, this position requires expertise in deliveries and C-sections for pregnancies over 35 weeks. The schedule involves weekend coverage, typically Friday 4 PM to Monday 7 AM, for two weekends per month. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with 24-hour call for deliveries and C-sections in a Nursery setting. This opportunity offers the potential for extension and requires an active Tennessee medical license. The facility uses Cerner EMR system.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide obstetrical care for pregnancies over 35 weeks

Perform deliveries and C-sections as needed

Manage 24-hour call for deliveries and C-sections

Work in a Nursery setting

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Cerner EMR

Ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures

Participate in patient care and treatment planning


Additional Information:

Must be board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Active Tennessee medical license required

Experience in high-risk obstetrics preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and clinic requirements
