Level III training in echo is required for this thriving practice. Additional skills in other imaging modalities are beneficial (e.g. CT angiography, cardiac MRI and nuclear stress testing). Daily responsibilities will include interpreting echos, performing TEEs, overseeing several NP/PAs who run the hospital service, and seeing patients in a clinic setting.
