Outer Banks of the Albemarle Sound 10 miles to Kitty Hawk 90 miles to Virginia Beach Employed by the Hospital Position available due to expansion Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities Approximately 400 deliveries per year Call is shared with 3 other physicians in the practice - option of 7-10 days a month Labor and delivery area consists of 2 labor/delivery, 4 mother/baby postpartum, 1 triage and 2 flexible rooms as well as a dedicated Caesarean-section operating room; nursery cares for up to 8 healthy, full-term babies and stabilizes near-term babies for transfer as needed to facilities that provide advanced care Clinic schedule (including administrative time): Monday-Friday, 8:45am to 4:30pm Clinic is located in the Medical Office Building connected to the Hospital Ultrasound and procedure room in-office Dedicated U/S tech, Monday-Friday Excellent public school system Strong community outreach Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefit package Relocation assistance provided
