Montana - Hematology Oncology Nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountain Front, my client runs a progressive, independent regional health care system in Montana's state capital. They provide inpatient care in their 99-bed regional medical center and their 24-bed behavioral health unit. Their services also include outpatient primary care /specialty clinics, ambulance services, rehabilitation care and urgent care facilities. Their long-standing cancer center is now an affiliate of the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah. They are recruiting a Hem/Onc to join their cancer care team. Their cancer center boasts: • Commission on Cancer Accredited • Patient satisfaction in the 95th percentile • A radiation and medical oncology center, featuring a Linear Accelerator and 22 chemo chairs • Three oncology nurse navigators, all staff RNs are OCN certified and a dedicated cancer center pharmacist and social worker • Located within the Regional Medical Center for ease of access to laboratory, imaging, and inpatient care (covered by a team of hospitalists) They re committed to their patients and their 1,700 employees: • They were named one of the top 100 community hospitals by the Chartis Center for Rural Health (2021). • They were recognized as one of the favorite places to work (2021). • They recently completed a $9 million surgical suite/central processing remodel and expansion (2020). • They opened a dedicated, physician-led outpatient Wound Care Center (2020). • They launched a community paramedicine and mobile crisis response team (behavioral health) program to provide care outside their walls to improve the well-being of their community (2020).
