This role involves working on high-security projects, leveraging expertise in DSP and C++ programming. Full-time onsite presence is required at our secure Fort Meade facility, as remote work is not available.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers in designing and implementing DSP algorithms to meet NSA mission-critical objectives.
- Modify and optimize existing C++ codebases to enhance system functionality and performance.
- Conduct rigorous unit tests and system validations to ensure software reliability.
- Support hardware integration efforts, including debugging and troubleshooting software-hardware interactions.
- Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation, including design notes and user guides.
- Participate in team discussions to propose improvements and resolve technical challenges.
- Stay informed about emerging DSP trends and technologies to contribute to innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or four additional years of SWE experience in lieu of a degree).
- Minimum 7+ years of software engineering experience, with demonstrated expertise in DSP.
- Proficiency in designing and modifying DSP implementations in C++.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Foundational knowledge of synchronous digital sampling and timestamping techniques.
- Familiarity with modulation techniques, such as high-order angle and amplitude modulation, and spread spectrum systems.
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or intelligence DSP applications is a plus.

Overview:
As a mid-level Software Engineer at King Global Enterprise Solutions, you will lead DSP algorithm development in direct support of the National Security Agency (NSA) . This role requires onsite presence at Fort Meade, MD, and remote work is not an option .
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement advanced DSP algorithms in C++ tailored for real-time NSA signal processing projects.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure seamless DSP software and hardware integration.
- Perform system-level validations, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to verify the accuracy and efficiency of DSP systems.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to Level 1 engineers, ensuring adherence to NSA standards and best practices.
- Maintain detailed and organized documentation, including project specifications, testing protocols, and system designs.
- Engage with project managers and NSA stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions on schedule.
- Stay current with DSP innovations and identify opportunities to enhance existing systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or four additional years of SWE experience in lieu of a degree).
- Minimum 14+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on DSP.

King Global Enterprise Solutions is looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to lead DSP efforts supporting the National Security Agency (NSA) . As a senior team member, you will define the technical direction for DSP solutions and work on mission-critical projects. This position requires full-time onsite work at our Fort Meade, MD facility, as remote work is not available .
Responsibilities:
- Architect and oversee the design of state-of-the-art DSP solutions to meet NSA project requirements.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of DSP algorithms in C++ for real-time processing environments.
- Act as the primary technical liaison with cross-functional teams, including system architects, project managers, and NSA clients.
- Direct the integration of DSP systems with hardware platforms, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Conduct high-level reviews of project designs, codebases, and testing methodologies to maintain NSA quality standards.
- Prepare and present detailed technical briefings and reports for NSA stakeholders.
- Drive innovation by researching and adopting the latest DSP methodologies and technologies.
