Quantitative Researcher with Machine Learning Experience – Work From Home

We are currently looking for a Quantitative Researcher with Machine Learning experience for a great opportunity. The company participates in a wide variety of marketplaces including global futures, equities, commodities, options, fixed income, and cryptocurrencies. Their culture emphasizes teamwork and focuses on continuous integration and test-driven development. This position is 100% Remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and enhancing python data science tools and frameworks.
  • Collaborating with multiple trading teams.
  • Conducting alpha research and identifying new trading opportunities.
  • Monitoring models in production.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in mathematics, physics, computer science, or related field with 4+ years of experience, or Masters/PhD with 2+ years of experience.
  • Strong GPA (3.5 or higher).
  • Knowledge of probability, statistics, and machine learning for time-series data.
  • Excellent Python programming skills (C++ a plus).
  • Experience with TDD, CI/CD, and distributed computing.
  • Effective prioritization and ownership of projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Applying machine learning techniques for trading.
  • Experience with HPC environments like SLURM.
  • Experience with orchestration and containerization tools such as Docker, Singularity, Airflow, Prefect.
