Description
The Metal emulation technologies team is seeking a GPU driver engineer to join our development team responsible for designing, developing, and shipping Metal & Machine Learning frameworks in virtualization for Apple Silicon GPUs. You will collaborate with teams across Apple to develop and integrate key technologies that enhance graphics and compute capabilities for a wide range of applications, including games, machine learning, and image processing.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in GPU driver development, including user mode or kernel mode drivers
- Proficiency in programming with C or C++
- Strong software design and debugging skills
- Understanding of systems architecture
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Technical BS/MS degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the graphics pipeline and GPU architecture
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies
- Experience with Graphics and Machine Learning APIs

Apple offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base pay range of $147,400 to $272,100, which depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
