Description
We power the Finder and Files applications on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS. To provide an exceptional experience, we work closely with file systems, frameworks, and applications teams.
We are looking for a skilled and self-motivated software engineer who is eager to interact with other members of the team and other teams at Apple. As a Finder and Files engineer, you will work on UI and data model for Finder and Files, applications used every day by millions of people.
This position involves participating in all stages of software development, from new feature design and implementation to maintenance of prior releases. You will work through rapid development cycles, remain flexible, and show your drive to deliver dependable software.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Object-oriented programming experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience updating existing UI and creating new UI
- Ability to analyze multi-client synchronization problems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a highly team-oriented environment
Apple offers a total compensation package, including base pay, which ranges from $147,400 to $272,100 depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Employees also have opportunities for stock programs, bonuses, and other benefits such as medical coverage, retirement plans, discounts, and educational reimbursement.
