Commercial Leasing Attorney

EA Talent Solutions has been engaged by a Top Downtown Manhattan real estate law firm who is seeking a motivated, detail-orientedCommercial Leasing Attorney with deep expertise in complex commercial leasing and real estate transactions. Ideal candidates will have strong legal acumen, business insight, and client service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead leasing transactions across office, retail, industrial, and ground leases
• Draft, review, and negotiate various lease types (gross, NNN, percentage, ground)
• Manage purchase/sale transactions, including contracts, due diligence, title, and closings
• Analyze lease terms (rent escalations, CAM, use clauses, defaults, etc.)
• Draft LOIs, amendments, subleases, assignments, and terminations
• Advise on lease administration, enforcement, and default remedies
• Conduct due diligence (lease abstracts, estoppels, SNDAs)
• Research real estate law, zoning, and compliance (NY focus)
• Align legal advice with business goals and market trends
• Collaborate with lenders and cross-functional legal teams
• Support leasehold financing and lender requirements

Qualifications:

• J.D. and NY Bar admission
• 3–7 years’ experience in commercial leasing/real estate law
• Strong lease drafting and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with financing, title, and survey review
• Excellent communication, organization, and client service
• Knowledge of zoning, ADA, and leasehold improvements

Total Compensation: $150,000–$250,000, including base salary and applicable incentives.
