Role Description

The Global Engineering organization manages Real Estate and Facilities, Reliability & Maintenance, Capital Projects, Process Automation, Energy & Utility Systems, and Engineering & Technology for the global manufacturing network. Our goal is to develop reliable, innovative systems that support our business and serve our customers.

Reporting to the Vice President of Global Engineering, the Platform Lead, Reliability & Maintenance is responsible for developing strategies, initiatives, and routines for maintenance functions including Facility/Utility, Packaging, Production Maintenance, Maintenance Services, and Asset & Strategic Parts Management across all manufacturing sites worldwide.

This role partners with operations and plant managers to develop maintenance plans, budgets, and technical skills aligned with world-class asset management and operational excellence. As a senior maintenance leader, you will focus on building capabilities in people, processes, and systems to optimize costs and asset performance, modeling ownership and professional growth.

This site-based role can be located remotely in the U.S, at our Parsippany NJ headquarters, or at any Zoetis manufacturing site globally.

Scope of Job

  • Establish organizational vision and strategy, conducting assessments to improve performance.
  • Lead asset replacement strategies integrated into site master and capital plans.
  • Develop KPIs and governance to monitor performance, promoting standard work and best practices.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement advanced technologies like AI, IoT, and CMMS to enhance maintenance operations.
  • Inspire and coach teams, develop training, and build talent pipelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 12 years in maintenance, reliability, or asset management, preferably in regulated industries like pharma or healthcare.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Certifications like CMRP or CRL are preferred.
  • Proven success in large-scale maintenance transformation and technology adoption.
  • Strong data-driven metrics experience and knowledge of GMP, FDA, EMA, and environmental standards.

Technical Skills

  • Project management, stakeholder interaction, and knowledge of PQSs, validation, CGMPs.
  • Experience with maintenance systems, including CMMS and spare parts management.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk, sit, stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying temperatures.
  • Travel may be required.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay ranges: $160,000 - $230,000 (Colorado), $181,000 - $260,000 (other locations). Eligible for short-term and long-term incentives. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, dental, retirement, and paid time off.
