About The Team

We are seeking a Senior Analyst for our Global GTM Target Setting Competency Hub, which supports Stripe’s GTM and Marketing teams. This team collaborates with Finance & Strategy, Global Planning, Marketing Operations, and Data Science to align goals, foster accountability, and enable informed decision-making.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will shape target-setting frameworks, strategic planning, and contribute to Stripe’s success by maintaining target setting integrity and fostering innovation in a rapidly evolving market.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Goal Setting: Collaborate with leadership to establish data-driven goals and performance metrics aligned with business objectives. Translate strategic goals into measurable targets at all levels.
  2. Forecasting & Modeling: Design predictive models for sales forecasting and dynamic target allocation. Lead innovation in target setting using advanced data science techniques and experiments.
  3. Communication of Complexity: Develop visualizations and narratives to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences, including executives. Oversee systems that communicate goals and progress effectively.
  4. Process, Policy, and Tooling: Contribute to principles and policies for measuring success. Develop tools to streamline target-setting and decision-making processes.
  5. Metric Design: Use statistical techniques to assess scenarios and impact on metrics and distributions.
  6. Growth Analytics Innovation: Lead initiatives exploring new data-driven growth strategies, experimenting with analytical techniques.
  7. Mentorship: Mentor junior team members, sharing best practices to foster professional growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years in data analytics or data science, with experience partnering with Revenue Operations, Finance, Growth, or Marketing, preferably in tech or financial services. Proven leadership in forecasting or data science projects.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and driven by business results. Passion for innovative data solutions.

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in SQL for data extraction.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R for analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling, statistical techniques, and A/B testing.
  • Ability to transform raw data into usable datasets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce data management and reporting.
  • Experience with Anaplan for headcount, territories, and quota management.

Work Location & Compensation

This role offers hybrid work options, either in-office or remote (35+ miles from an office). The salary range in the US is $167,300 - $251,000, with additional benefits including equity, bonuses, 401(k), health benefits, and wellness stipends.
