Job Description
The Senior Vice President, Data Science is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering advanced ML/AI-based data products and analytic solutions integrated into Publicis CoreAI workflows and offerings. We seek a seasoned data science team leader with experience guiding technical teams in developing ML/AI solutions that enhance business revenue and product sales. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with extensive hands-on modeling and data engineering experience, leveraging structured and unstructured data, cutting-edge techniques, and platforms to develop applications embedded in our workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
Responsibilities
Role Objectives:
- Data Science Solutions – Development & Innovation: Lead a multi-talented team of data scientists to develop ML/AI data products and solutions for the CoreAI workflows and marketplace. Manage both direct reports and collaborate with partner teams, developing a roadmap for AI/ML utilities. Continuously explore and adopt new technologies to enhance our offerings.
- Technical Expertise: Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into AI/ML solutions. Demonstrate proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, developing tools for rapid, high-quality delivery, and building scalable analytic systems.
- Team Leadership & Partnership: Lead technical workshops, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure project quality and timelines, and mentor team members.
- Domain Thought-Leadership & Industry Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, contribute to knowledge sharing, develop case studies, and elevate the organization’s technical standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years in data science and analytics, with leadership experience in innovative organizations.
- Proven hands-on coding skills and a portfolio showcasing your expertise.
- Mastery of multiple programming languages and tools, with experience building developer-used products.
- Strong leadership skills with team management and project leadership experience.
- Preferred: Excellent communication, experience with agile methodologies, advanced degrees (M.Sc./PhD), and relevant certifications.
