Position Overview:
Looking for a skilled Application Engineer experienced in Linux/Windows, data analytics, and KG tool integration. Must have strong Java and Python development skills, system integration, troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of ElasticSearch, NiFi, and Splunk.
Responsibilities include:
- System integration and troubleshooting
- Development in Java and Python
- Working with ElasticSearch, NiFi, Splunk
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Windows and Linux OS
- Proficiency with Vine KG Tool and/or GENOME KG Tool
- Strong Java development experience
- Knowledge of Splunk
- Python development experience
- Knowledge of ElasticSearch and Apache NiFi
- IAT Level 2 Certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA-Security, GSEC)
Desired Skills:
- Troubleshooting KG software and hardware connectivity
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Angular 10+
- Additional Java experience for full-stack/backend
- Experience with MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Sybase)
Qualifications:
- Experience and education in relevant technical fields from accredited institutions
- Minimum 12 years experience with a High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combinations of education and experience as specified
Certifications Required:
- IAT Level 2 Certification
Security Clearance: Active security clearance with appropriate polygraph required.
Pay Range: $185,000 - $235,000
Note: Compensation is guided by various factors including role responsibilities, candidate background, and competencies.
